Facilities Available
Sufficient number of classrooms are available in the college.
The college has a library with around 10,000 books, Magazines, Newspapers
and Journals. There is also provision for separate reading rooms for students and professors.
There are separate laboratory rooms for practical subjects which are well equipped.
The College is connected with internet facilities provided by BSNL sponsored by UGC.
The College has a contact centre of IDOL, Gauhati University for M.A. course.
The college publishes an annual magazine by the name of ‘Deomornoi
Degree College Magazine’. It is also publishes wall-magazines on special occasions like
College Week, Saraswati Puja, Fateha-E-Dowaz Daham and Freshmen social. The Sahitya
Parishad of the college also publishes a Journal of Poetry every year.
There is a centre of the N.S.S. in Deomornoi Degree college. A number of programmes and
educational excursions are organized by the unit and many of our volunteers have
participated in many states and national level camps. The intending students may join the
N.S.S. which gives an opportunity to develop their personalities and shape their attitude

The college has a grievance redressal cell to look into the grievances of the students,
guardians, teachers and employees of the college. The cell takes appropriate steps for
redressal of the genuine grievances and complaints in accordance with the guidelines for this
purpose.
Deomornoi Degree College Students’ Union is the only recognized students’ union of the
college. Its membership is compulsory for every students’ of the college. The students’ union
of the college has its own constitution according to which election is held annually and the
executive bodies constituted for the term.
